Law firm GANADO Advocates has launched Project Anew – an initiative designed to assist young entrepreneurs bring their business ideas into fruition. Such an initiative aims at attracting start ups that are led by young individuals who are determined to transform their innovative business idea, product or service into reality. The firm will be providing free legal advice, for a period of time to be determined on a case by case basis, to those individuals who qualify for the scheme.

An internal committee – made up of lawyers coming from the firm's different practice areas – was appointed specifically for the purpose of this initiative. The committee's main function is that of evaluating proposals received, choosing qualifying projects and ensuring that beneficiaries make the most out of the opportunity that the firm has presented to them by way of this initiative.

"We want to help young potential entrepreneurs, who have never had a business of their own, get started", Louis Cassar Pullicino, Managing Partner at GANADO Advocates explains. "Apart from free legal advice, we are also presenting opportunities for networking – both locally as well as internationally – which opportunities we feel are vital, and normally missing, for businesses which are just starting up."
