On July 27, the PDPC began seeking public comments on managing personal data in
the digital economy. Specifically, the consultation paper asks for
the public's comment on "proposed Notification of Purpose

collecting, using and disclosing personal data, and the proposed
mandatory data breach notification regime under the PDPA." The
comment period closes on September 21.
