It gives us great pleasure to announce that effective 1 April 2017 the Contract Management service under our Business Process Management (BPM) practice will now be considered a distinct practice, alongside Finance & Accounting and Global Payroll and Compliances.
Having its own distinct identity will give the Contract Management practice a clear focus and will help build and grow the practice. The practice will have its own business plan and go to market strategy that will leverage a distinct value proposition backed by a service-oriented delivery model.
The Contract Management practice will serve clients along the entire contract management lifecycle, from advice to standardisation to creation and administration and provide value at all levels:
- By taking care of large volume template contracts, we will free in-house legal counsel for more complex matters.
- By helping clients standardise contracts and develop playbooks, we will enable clients to turn around contracts quicker and make sure that the contracts are robust and properly negotiated.
- Efficient administration of contracts will help our clients not only be compliant themselves but ensure that they get compliance and commercial benefits under the contract from the other party.
- Bringing in significant commercial acumen that supports clients while negotiation of complex transactions.
Srikanth Vadakapurapu will head the practice as its Associate Director. Srikanth is an Engineer, has done his Master's from the University of Mississippi and obtained his Law Degree from a leading Law School in the United States. Prior to SKP, he worked in Contract Management in both US and India. He comes with more than 12 years of extensive experience in document review, contracts management, litigation support and research projects for international clients, including law firms and businesses based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and India. Srikanth has worked in a wide range of industries including financial services, healthcare, etc.
