Ronan Daly Jermyn (RDJ) has announced the appointment of four Partners across the Firm's banking and finance, employment, healthcare and litigation practices. This brings the total number of Partners within the firm to 47.

The new partners are Cian Fenton (Banking and Finance), Peter Groarke (Healthcare), Louise Smith (Litigation and Dispute Resolution) and Antoinette Vahey (Employment).

Managing Partner at RDJ, Richard Martin, commenting on the appointments, said, "My congratulations go to all of our new partners on reaching this milestone in their career. Meet our new partners:

Cian Fenton (Banking and Finance)

Cian is a Partner in RDJ's Banking and Finance group. He practices in a wide range of finance transactions including acquisition finance, real estate and development finance, structured finance, loan portfolio sales, and debt restructuring. His clients include domestic and international banks, alternative finance providers and non-bank lenders, as well as a wide range of corporate borrowers, particularly in the construction and hospitality sectors.

Peter Groarke (Healthcare)

Peter is a Partner in the firm's Healthcare team. With extensive experience in handling complex high value claims, including professional negligence and clinical negligence, he acts on behalf of a number of leading indemnifiers. Peter provides specialist advices on Inquest hearings and Professional Medical complaints to a range of healthcare clients and also represents a number of Nursing Home Facilities. 

Louise Smith (Litigation and Dispute Resolution)

Louise is a Partner in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. She has considerable experience advising on motor, employers', and public liability as well as indemnity claims for both insured and self-insured bodies. Louise is particularly well known for her work in the area of insurance fraud, defending fraudulent and exaggerated claims, and assisting clients in the formation of anti-fraud strategies.

Antoinette Vahey (Employment)

Antoinette is a Partner in RDJ's Employment team. She has extensive experience providing strategic legal advice to clients in a range of areas such as wrongful and unfair dismissal; discrimination, transfer of undertakings (TUPE); contingent workers; redundancies; and restrictive covenants. She represents clients in the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour and High Court. She also uses her skills as a CEDR qualified mediator in contentious matters. Antoinette's clients include multinationals in the pharmaceutical, med-tech, manufacturing and technology sectors, together with leading Universities and educational establishments.
