Ogier's European Real Estate team will represent Jersey, Guernsey and Luxembourg at MIPIM, the world's leading real estate event, next month.

Katrina Edge will be on hand to discuss real estate finance. Katrina, a partner in our Jersey team, has worked on some of the most significant real estate finance deals of the past five years including the record-breaking £1.28 billion Walkie Talkie purchase.

Jersey partner Richard Daggett's corporate finance experience focuses on offshore property holding structures, including advising on the most expensive single asset property deal in UK history in 2019 with the £1.6 billion purchase of the iconic Battersea Power Station.

Ogier's Jersey real estate funds team will be represented by partner Sophie Reguengo. A regulatory specialist, Sophie's experience with governance, investment sustainability and impact investing means she is well placed to discuss the challenges of 2020 and beyond.

Partner Christopher Jones' expertise includes Guernsey law advice on the financing and acquisition of prime commercial real estate. Alongside Luxembourg partner Bertrand Geradin, he has worked on a number of transactions which have required advice across a number of disciplines.

Ogier's legal team will be accompanied by Ogier Global Director Lawrie Cunningham, an expert in real estate administration who specialises in assisting international clients investing into UK and European real estate. Lawrie sits on the boards of various real estate holding vehicles in both executive and non-executive capacities and is involved in the management of various UK and Pan-European assets across multiple sectors including retail, office, student accommodation and logistics.

MIPIM brings together the most influential players in international property. Ogier is ranked as a market leader by leading legal directories in this area.
