Once again McCullough Robertson Lawyers has received the prestigious Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

The national citation recognises employers that are adopting leading practices to promote gender equality in the workplace with activity including addressing gender remuneration gaps, flexible working and initiatives to support family responsibilities.

McCullough Robertson Chief People Officer, Louise Ferris, said: "At McCullough Robertson we have a strong focus on driving a culture where a diverse workforce is welcomed.

While we recognise that there is still work to be done across the industry, we are incredibly proud to have received this citation once again and be seen as a leader in working towards gender equality in all Australian workplaces."

Over the past year, McCullough Robertson Lawyers has continued to focus its efforts on working towards gender parity with a gender neutral commencement salary policy; unconscious bias training for staff; individualised flexible work arrangements; and mentorship and sponsorship opportunities to assist with career progression.

The tangible impact of our EOGCE recognition was noted by WGEA Director Libby Lyons, commenting that those cited firms 'are closing their pay gaps and increasing their representation of women in management at a faster rate than other employers in our dataset.'
