LAS VEGAS (October 6, 2020) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announced Eric Kohli, a well-known, registered patent attorney has joined the firm's Intellectual Property Group as Of Counsel in the firm's Las Vegas office. With the addition of Kohli, the firm further strengthens and enhances its resources in Las Vegas to provide a broad range of intellectual property services to clients.

With more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property law, Kohli's practice has focused on advising a wide variety of clients, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies, through patent and trademark development, prosecution, enforcement, business agreements, IP licensing, and IP litigation. He advises clients on patented technologies in the areas of electronics, electrical, mechanical, software, mobile apps, automotive, culinary, apparel and medical arts. Kohli has developed and prosecuted patent applications for universities, foreign and domestic corporations, medical professionals, automotive technologists, retail ventures, startups, restaurants, and the like.

In addition to patent prosecution, Kohli has experience registering and prosecuting trademarks before the USPTO and international trademark offices, as well as enforcing trademarks around the world. He is also an intellectual property litigator, and has handled patent and trademark infringement matters for various corporations.

Earlier this year, Kohli became CodeSuite certified for infringement and forensic analysis of computer software. He serves as a Board Member of the South Asian Bar Association, Las Vegas chapter and is the Treasurer for the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists, Las Vegas chapter. Kohli received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and his B.S. from Northern Illinois University.
