Jones Day associate Ashley Heintz was named "Associate of the Year" by Attorney at Law Magazine Atlanta, a distinction that highlights lawyers who have excelled in their practice and have offered themselves as leaders.

Ms. Heintz concentrates her practice on securities litigation, shareholder disputes, and corporate governance matters and regularly counsels boards of directors and senior management in connection with governmental and internal investigations. She has significant experience handling securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative cases, SEC investigations and inquiries, and internal investigations relating to shareholder demands, whistleblower complaints, and corporate compliance.

Ms. Heintz is active in the Atlanta community, where she serves as a member of the Atlanta Bar Association's Judicial Selection and Tenure Committee and The Lamar American Inn of Court. She serves as president of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation's Leadership Council and on the board of directors of the Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence. She co-founded and formerly served on the board of Make-A-Wish Georgia Atlanta Young Professionals, served on the board of Reading Is Essential For All People, and participated in The Columbus American Inn of Court and The Joseph Henry Lumpkin American Inn of Court. Ashley is a graduate of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2018.
