DENVER (November 10, 2020) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announced Tyler J. Owen has joined the firm's Denver office as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group.

Owen is a litigator whose practice focuses on general commercial litigation matters. He has experience researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda in various areas of law, including first-party bad faith insurance claims, risk management and complex corporate litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Owen served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Maria Teresa Fox of the Colorado Court of Appeals, where he researched legal issues presented on appeal and Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado, where he contributed to appellate briefs submitted to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals as well as preparing memoranda on a variety of topics, including the Federal Tort Claims Act, ADA liability and HIPAA.

While in law school, Owen was a Rothgerber Teaching Fellow for Constitutional Law and a Research Assistant with a focus on the federal budget process. He received his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and his B.A. Arizona State University.
