We are excited to announce the appointment of Kenneth Ng as a Principal in the role of United States Client Liaison from 22 October, 2020.

Ken is US based and will be an important point of contact for our US clients and associate firms seeking assistance in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and the Pacific Islands. Ken will also assist our Australian and Asian based clients as an on the ground liaison working with our network of US associate firms.

We believe in further supporting our clients by having a presence on the ground in the US available across the full US business day. This will not replace any existing relationships and your usual DCC contacts will continue to be accessible/available. Ken will serve as an extra point of contact to enhance our service.

Ken is well-known in the IP industry.  Having grown up in Singapore, Ken started his career as a Magistrate in its Supreme Court.  He relocated to the US where he gained experience working as outside counsel, before taking positions with Kohler Co. and then at Illinois Tool Works Inc.  In 2014, Ken joined a well-regarded Chinese firm as a Partner, focusing on supporting its clients in the US market.  He regularly speaks at IP events in the US and is actively involved in various IP organisations, including INTA, IPO and AIPLA. Ken brings to his new role in DCC his global experience in IP portfolio management and a good understanding of the commercial imperatives and the importance of IP to modern business.

Ken also has an exemplary track record in client management.  His role will be principally managing US client relations, but the depth of his connections in the US market and abroad will provide an outstanding platform for promoting DCC's  services as it continues to expand in the Asia-Pacific region.

DCC Principals remain committed to visiting their clients across the globe once international travel opens up. Adding Ken to our ranks will allow us to continue to provide excellent client service during these challenging times. We are delighted to have Kenneth working with us to further assist you.
