Appleby acted for Douglas Bay Property Limited on its recent GBP 12,800,000 purchase of the Douglas Bay Complex, also known as King Edward Bay House.

The acquisition, which completed on 28 October 2020, is one of the most significant commercial property transactions in the Isle of Man this year.

The Douglas Bay Complex is an iconic Grade A office building located on Onchan Head in the Isle of Man, which currently serves as the Isle of Man headquarters of Quilter International, an international investment, savings and insurance group, and The Stars Group, a leading international online gaming business.

Douglas Bay Property Limited is advised by Ravenscroft Consultancy & Listing Services Limited, a member of the Ravenscroft Group, which established a presence on the Isle of Man earlier this year when it acquired WH Ireland (IOM) Limited.
