CIPP/E certification means that the professional is a Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe and ensures that practitioners understand and work in the area of European privacy laws, regulations, and frameworks, which includes the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and US Privacy Shield framework. The certification complies with the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 standard and meets stringent requirements for analyzing subject matter and the field of work they apply, along with formal psychometric analysis of tests items to ensure that the certification truly differentiates those who possess the required skills and knowledge to do the related jobs from those who do not.

Ms. Jodka's CIPP/E certification complements her CIPP/US (United States) certification, making her one of a very small number of attorneys in the U.S. with dual privacy certifications.
