Attorneys Xavier Lightfoot and Jeremy Wilson will help civil practitioners sharpen their discovery and evidence strategies, virtually, this Friday, January 22.

Xavier and Jeremy are both speaking at the Discovery and Evidence Skills Academy, hosted by the North Carolina Advocate for Justice. The one-day CLE features several sessions, covering topics ranging from written discovery to depositions, use of experts, and much more.

In addition to delivering the welcoming remarks as the Program Chair, Jeremy's presentation will focus on "discovery fights," such as motions to compel, motions for protective orders, and other related topics.

Xavier will bookend the event with a joint presentation with Lauren McAndrew of Blanchard Miller Lewis & Isley, P.A. Their session will cover ethical considerations in conducting discovery.

The Discovery and Evidence Skills Academy is approved for 7.0 CLE hours, including 1.0 ethics hour. Registration is still open.
