Wrigleys are delighted to welcome Will Foley to their Leeds office.

Will is an experienced agricultural and rural property solicitor who specialises in commercial and agricultural property work for landed estates and farming clients.

Originally from Norwich, Will previously worked at a large regional practice in East Anglia, where he qualified in 2018. He advises on freehold purchases and sales of estates and agricultural land and property, the grant and surrender of agricultural leases, and the grant of easements and licenses, while also providing day to day advice to agricultural clients.

Will says 'Although I trained and qualified in a different part of the country, Wrigleys was a name that was known to me by reputation as "the" firm to go to in Yorkshire and the surrounds for agriculture and estates work. A firm's culture is also equally important to me and Wrigleys present themselves as somewhere that is warm and friendly and a firm that will remain true to their values (I am glad to say that three weeks in, this is correct).  When we decided to make the move northwards, I knew this was the firm I wanted to apply for.

Everyone has been incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and has made me feel at home despite the fact that I have only met two of my colleagues face to face! It was weird not to have the normal walk around the office to meet everyone, but I have managed to speak to most people virtually which has been just as good.

I am looking forward to building relationships with the current clients of the firm so that I can better understand them and their needs, which will assist me in giving them the best legal advice. I am also very much looking forward to seeing my desk for the first time!'

Jonathan Attey who heads up Wrigleys' Rural team, said 'We are delighted to have Will join the team, he has a solid grounding in agricultural law from his previous firm and has fitted in well. Will is a bright, enthusiastic and friendly character – he has a pragmatic touch, will be a support for the wider team and will ensure appropriate work can be done efficiently and cost effectively.'
