Bankruptcy and Restructuring partner Sarah Gryll was a featured contributor for Bloomberg Law's "Making Partner in a Pandemic" series, which highlights perspectives of newly-elected law firm partners on the challenges of ascending to partnership during a pandemic. Gryll recounts her experience adapting to working under virtual operating status and how her "intentional pursuit" of connecting with colleagues helped maintain work relationships.

Gryll also emphasized the importance of being flexible and open to new ways of practicing law, citing her years as a bankruptcy attorney—a field "not conducive" to planning—as having prepared her for the changed work environment.

Gryll practices in all areas of corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency-related matters. She regularly advises troubled companies, term loan lenders, term loan agents, distressed asset purchasers, trustees, secured and unsecured creditors in out of court loan workouts, restructurings, chapter 11 proceedings, liquidations, and litigations.
