With the purpose of aligning public policy to the promotion of smart industries, the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication (MCTIC) together with the Ministry of Economy (ME) created the "Brazilian Chamber of the Industry 4.0".

Aiming to integrate public power and private sector, the Chamber is going to comprise representatives of the public and private sector as well as academia, whom will be responsible for creating solutions and incentives to the range of areas which nowadays encompasses the industrial modern models, such as technological development and innovation; human capital; production chains and suppliers development; regulation; technical harmonisation and infrastructure.

The project, launched in Brasilia, it is an important initiative to pave the way for innovation in Brasil.
