Representatives from more than 20 Non-Profit Organisations
(NPOs) were briefed on good governance standards during an outreach
session on Wednesday, 31 March, organised by the Registrar of
NPOs.
Taking place in the Government Administration Building, the
session helped newly registered and existing NPOs understand their
compliance requirements under the NPO Act. Among the topics covered
were terrorist financing and examples of internal controls and good
governance, with practical and real life scenarios.
