Further to 'Premi Answers FAQ (2)', I would like to share a few more answers with you to the most Frequently Asked Questions in my day-to-day work. I hope the following could be of help to you, even a little bit of help would make me so thrilled.

Question 1: What should I do if I encounter online translation lag on the PremiWord website?

Premi Answers: PremiWord Machine Translation presently supports Chinese – English, Chinese – Japanese intertranslation. The normal average speed for each language pair is about 10 seconds per thousand words/characters. If you encounter a lag perceptibly longer than 10 seconds, there may be a large number of users simultaneously using the machine translation service. Please reload the webpage and try to translate again. If you still don't have the translation result, it may be caused by unrecognizable symbols or formats contained in the content that you want to translate. Please contact PremiWord (Tel: +86 10 56571518, Email: translation@premiword.com.cn), to help us identify the problem and prevent the same from happening again so as to provide a better service for you.

Question 2: Why can't I translate a PDF file by uploading it to PremiWord?

Premi Answers: PremiWord presently supports editable files in formats such as .txt, .doc, .docx, and .pdf only containing text. If your PDF file is not converted from an editable file, for example obtained from scanning, currently online Machine Translation is not supported at PremiWord, please send the file you want to translate to translation@premiword.com.cn to enjoy our offline Human-Assisted Machine Translation service. Our professionals will complete text recognition and correction, machine translation, translation result formatting and therefore you can obtain a complete translation with the same format as the original text.

Question 3: Why is there no translation result after inputting the text that I need to translate?

Premi Answers: Please make sure that you have logged on to your PremiWord account. Simply use your email address to register a PremiWord account and then enjoy online instant translation or upload a file to translate. Furthermore, free Machine Translation will be provided everyday for the first 3000 words/characters, with a $2 charge for each additional 100 words/characters, if the text that you need to translate contains more than 3000 words/characters, the payment for the excess part should be paid before the translation result is displayed.

Question 4: How can I save the translation result?

Premi Answers: PremiWord supports two ways for saving the translation result:

  1. Online Instant Copy+Paste: Just select and copy the translation result in the output range, then paste it to the file that you want to save;
  2. Download the translation result as a file: Just click the "Download" button, and then select a format for download. PremiWord presently provides download files in formats of txt, excel, or word, wherein excel files provide bilingual texts.

Question 5: Why is there a pop-up notification "Unknown system error, please report to the administrator" on the PremiWord website?

Premi Answers: There are routine updates of the translation engine so that you may enjoy a better service from PremiWord. During the routine updates, you may encounter "Unknown system error, please report to the administrator" on the PremiWord website. Please reload the webpage, or close the browser and try to open the website again.
