Cyprus has updated its Revised Posted Worker Directive by adding a six-month posting extension for postings that were previously limited to a maximum 12-month duration.

What are the Changes?

Posted EU workers can now work for 18 months in Cyprus rather than a maximum of one year, as was previously the limit. Additionally, posted workers whose employment terms with their home country employer are more favorable than Cypriot law will have the more favorable terms apply.
