To qualify for this award, a series of strict environmental and safety-related criteria should be met.

Fig Tree Bay, Protaras

Fig Tree Bay can be found in Protaras, a well-know tourist resort and one of the most attractive summer destinations of the island. The name of the bay comes from a solitary fig tree that has been there since the 17th century. It is characterised by its glistening water, water sports, numerous hotels and variety of restaurant to enjoy the Mediterranean cousine. Fig Tree Bay attracts not only young people, but also families who want to enjoy a relaxed summer evening with its children in the golden shores of Protaras.

Konnos Beach, Protaras/Paralimni

Konnos Beach offers one of the most idyllic and scenic views in the region. With glorious swimming conditions, local stores and restaurants, Konnos Beach has been one of the most famous beaches among the locals. It gets extremely packed during summer vocations, while its turquoise waters and cocooned area can magnetize each one of us. It can be found off the road between Cape Greco and Protaras, surrounding by the hills.

Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa

Nissi Beach is a slice of island paradise for every human being. The beach attracts people of all ages, while it combines shallow and calm seawater with bars and water sports. During summer, many famous DJs host beach parties across the shore, while numerous of restaurant and hotels can be found nearby.

Coral Bay, Paphos
