As part of the supporting measures taken by the Cyprus Government for the assistance of companies/businesses which have been affected by the restrictive measures imposed to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver ("Registrar") on the 23rd and 24th of March 2020 announced the following:

"The publication of the three months-notice preceding the strike-off of companies that have failed to comply with their obligations is suspended until January 2021;

The payment of the annual levy for 2020 is extended until December 31, 2020. No penalties will be imposed.
The implementation of the monetary charges for late submission of statutory forms to the Registrar, for example, for the change of directors and/or secretary (HE4), change of registered office (HE2), transfer of shares (HE57), allotment of shares (HE12), annual returns (HE32) etc., is postponed to 2021.

The annual return (HE32) dated 01/01/2020 to 31/12/2020 may be submitted to the Registrar until 28/01/2021, without the charge of € 20 for late registration".
