The Guernsey branch of Swiss private bank Julius Baer has collected a hat-trick of awards in Euromoney's Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey.

As well as being named Best Private Bank Services Overall for the third year in a row, Julius Baer in Guernsey also won awards for its interactions with high-net-worth clients and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The bank has had a presence in the island for more than 25 years.

The survey is voted for by private wealth practitioners around the world.

Guernsey Branch Manager Stephen Burt said: "Like many organisations locally and across the globe, working from home has been an interesting adjustment with its own challenges. Our team have taken the changes in their stride and we're pleased they have been recognised for continuing to offer excellent client service."

Guernsey Finance Chief Executive Rupert Pleasant said: "Guernsey has a long history in private banking and a well-earned reputation for excellent service standards, which was reinforced by the resilience we were able to demonstrate as an island during lockdown in 2020. My congratulations to the team at Julius Baer."
