Triangle Group, an investment, development and asset management group focused on property, hotels and resorts, and private equity, has announced the opening of its new head office in Guernsey.

The group said Guernsey was an ideal choice as it would give the firm's expanding international client base greater access to important foreign markets, and significantly greater flexibility in structuring their investment portfolios. Similarly the firm said that Guernsey's position as a widely-respected financial centre with a highly sophisticated legal and regulatory framework coupled with expertise in financial and professional services made it a particularly attractive jurisdiction to operate from.

Rick Denton, Chief Executive of Triangle Group, and former head of international wealth advisory at Barclays Wealth, will be based at the new head office, as will Jane Kerins, a newly appointed director of Triangle. Further appointments to the team will be announced shortly.

Triangle Group Chairman Metin Guvener said: "I am proud of our continuing international expansion with the establishment of our head office in Guernsey. This is a significant milestone for Triangle Group and will enable us to continue to build our experienced team and develop highly-innovative products and services that align with our client's investment objectives."

Mr Denton added: "Triangle has undergone rapid growth over the last seven years and the Group continues to develop exciting opportunities for its client base, both in existing and new markets. I am thoroughly looking forward to being a part of the next phase of the Group's success."
