The Albanian Government approved last week the natural Gas
Master Plan and Project Identification Plan, paving the way to
important private investments for the construction of gas
infrastructure. The Plans are a result of the cooperation between
Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) and Ministry of
Infrastructure and Energy, supported by the consortium of advisors
COWI IPF.

development of the gasification policy, legal, regulatory and
institutional framework necessary for the facilitation of
development of gas sector in Albania, in line with the Albanian
Natural Gas and Energy legislation as well as its obligations under
the Energy Community Treaty.
