Notice Of Directive Issued In Terms Of Section7(1) Of The Occupational Health And Safety Act, No. 85 Of 1993 ("OHASA")

Kindly take note that on Friday, 10 July 2015, a notice was
published in Government Gazette No. 38960 (GNR 588 of 2015), in
terms of which the Chief Inspector:
- withdrew GNR 335 of 2015, published
in Government Gazette No. 38707 on Friday, 24 April 2015; and
- replaced it with a notice of
directive issued in terms of section 7(1) of OHASA, directed at
employers belonging to "Class XXI" (as defined in the
Schedule attached thereto as well as Form W.Cl.150T(E) entitled
"Classification of Industries", issued by the Department
of Labour for the purposes of the Compensation for Occupational
Injuries and Diseases Act, No. 130 of 1993) (click here to view GNR 588 of 2015).
