Mozambique plans sovereign wealth fund to manage gas revenue
Mozambique's government plans to establish a sovereign wealth fund to manage income from future gas production, President Filipe Nyusi said.
The state will also allocate a fixed portion of revenue to the state budget to fund infrastructure development, poverty reduction and economic diversification, Nyusi said in a speech on Wednesday in the capital, Maputo.

Afarak invests in clean energy at its Mogale Alloys plant
Swedish cleantech company Ripasso Energy on Friday handed over a PWR BLOCK 400-F system, which converts industrial residual and flare gases into electricity, to vertically integrated speciality alloys producer Afarak at its Mogale Alloys processing plant in Krugersdorp.
This is the first such system to be used in South Africa.
