Turkey Suspends Execution And Bankruptcy Proceedings As Part Of The Precautions Taken To Combat COVID-19 Pandemic

As per the Presidential Decree no. 2279 ("Decree")
published on Official Gazette of March 22, 2020, it has been
decided that all on-going execution and bankruptcy proceedings,
except for the ones related to alimony claims, shall be suspended
and that no new requests for execution or bankruptcy shall be
processed until April 30, 2020.
The Decree directly came into effect as of March 22, 2020 upon
publication.
