In the piece, Bagley explains the newly passed United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which renegotiates and cancels the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Bagley notes that the USMCA is expected to dramatically affect many areas of law of its three member states, stating that "it is important for content companies and ISPs alike to understand the new treaty’s impact on their rights and remedies across North American borders."
