2020.
The Family Law Section promotes improvements in family law
practice through legislative changes, legal education, practice
guides, as well as pro bono legal services and mentoring. It also
provides information on legal and policy developments relating to
children and families.
Lauren leads Ward and Smith's Family Law
practice. Her practice encompasses various areas of civil
litigation with a primary focus on complex familial issues.
Her practice includes premarital and post-marital agreements,
complex equitable distribution, custody and child support
litigation, and adoption.
Lauren has been an NC State Bar Board Certified Specialist
