Just three days before the new United States Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) fee schedule was set to take effect, a
federal judge in California has temporarily enjoined the government
from implementing the new fees, many of which were significantly
higher than the current fees.
At this point, it is still unclear whether this temporary stay
will become permanent as the case progresses. We will be watching
carefully for updates.
