The panel will also address reporting requirements and best practices for compliance.

We will review these and other important considerations:

  • How does the new rule impact PEC and REIT ownership of nursing facilities?
  • What due diligence should be conducted by covered entities to ensure compliance with the final rule's reporting requirements?
  • How may the final rule's reporting requirements impact facilities' contractual obligations, including any duties of confidentiality, with disclosable third parties? What contractual amendments may be required?
