Digital learning and communications company BestatDigital has acquired Saba Studio from Cornerstone OnDemand Inc.

Based in Brighton, BestatDigital helps businesses transform by using digital skills and behavioural insights to solve problems, create new experiences and change behaviour. Under the leadership of BestatDigital CEO Andrea Day, the transaction will see 60 employees and consultants transfer to the new company.

Jonathan Grant and John Yates from law firm DMH Stallard advised BestatDigital on the deal.

Jonathan Grant, Partner at DMH Stallard and Head of Corporate, said:

"This acquisition is great news for the city and more evidence of the importance and significance of Brighton to the global digital market.

"With such a strong customer base this acquisition promises very exciting times ahead for Andrea and her team."

Cornerstone OnDemand acquired Saba Software in April 2020 and subsequently agreed to spin off the Saba Studio business to Andrea Day, the former Vice President of Saba Studio.

The two companies will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition, as well as enable future business development and growth opportunities through an ongoing partnership agreement.

Andrea Day, CEO of BestatDigital, said:

"This is an exciting time for our new company. We're all about digital solutions and spinning off allows us to focus on what we love, while giving us the opportunity to raise our profile as an independent digital solutions business."
