We are pleased to announce that Timothy D. Goepel has joined Watson Goepel LLP as a Partner, effective February 1, 2021. Tim conducts a broad civil litigation practice focused on construction law, partnership/shareholder disputes, defence of professionals, intellectual property disputes, and employment matters.

Tim has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia and the Federal Court of Canada, including in trials, injunction applications, oppressive remedy proceedings, judicial review petitions, and appeals. In addition, he has acted as counsel in arbitrations, mediations, and regulatory proceedings. Prior to joining Watson Goepel, Tim spent 14 years at a mid-sized regional firm in Vancouver.

A West Coast native, Tim received his undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria in 2002, and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2005. A provincially and nationally ranked tennis player in his youth, he remains an avid tennis player and committed father.
