The State Securities and Capital Markets Commission has adopted new rules for securities registration. Effective 14 October 1996 responsibility for registration of shares and bonds of joint stock companies is transferred from the Ministry of Finance to the Commission. The former regulations of the Ministry of Finance were replaced with no significant modification.
