Kickstarter, the popular Crowdfunding platform, has announced that Canadian projects can now be built (with a launch date for possible funding of September 9, 2013). Kickstarter is known for its "all or nothing" approach to funding, its focus on creative projects and its, increasingly rigorous, vetting of projects.
