This week, Louis Morisset, the President and CEO of Quebec's
Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) announced
that they "have made suppressing illegal insider trading and
market manipulation a top priority". In the past few days
only, the AMF has initiated proceedings in at least three matters
in relation to allegations of insider trading, including one
against, notably, individuals and companies related to Amaya Inc.,
one of the major online gaming companies in the world. A link to
