The Prime Minister has
promised that 2019 will be the "year of delivery". It is
a promise that, at the practical level, the Government should be
well-equipped to meet.
In our updated
reviews in progress booklet, the table illustrates that a lot
of chickens are coming home to roost this year: either as reviews
report back their recommendations, reform proposals are drafted
into legislation, or as bills progress through the House on their
way to enactment.
This list does not attempt to be exhaustive. Our focus is on
work streams that will most directly affect the New Zealand
business sector.
