Last month, Immigration Minister Fraser announced that as of July 16, 2023, H-1B specialty occupation visa holders in the US, and their accompanying immediate family members, will be eligible to apply to come to Canada. As of today, we do not have any information regarding the details of what this program will look like and there is a great deal of misinformation circulating about the upcoming program. Given that the program is scheduled to open on Sunday, July 16^th, we are hopeful that more information regarding eligibility and processing will be made public as soon as possible.
