IndusLaw advised Samara Capital in: (a) its collaboration with Convergent Finance; and (b) both Samara and Convergent acquiring a controlling stake (51.77%) in Agro Tech Foods Limited ("ATFL") from a subsidiary of Conagra Brands, Inc. for USD 78 million. ATFL is listed on the National Stock Exchange and the BSE. The acquisition has also triggered an Open Offer under the SEBI Takeover Code and IndusLaw is also advising Samara Capital on the Open Offer.
Deal amount: USD 78 million. ZHIL shall also pay an amount of up to USD 44 million for an additional 26% of the outstanding shares as part of the open offer to the public shareholders of ATFL
