中国聯通とZTE、6Gに関する戦略的協力を展開へ

中国聯通(チャイナ・ユニコム)と中興通訊(ZTE)は17日、6G共同戦略協力協定に署名した。環球網が伝えた。
中国聯通は「双方は6G技術イノベーション及び標準をめぐり協力を推進する一方で、
6Gと衛星ネットワーク、モノのインターネット(IoT)、車のインターネット(IoV)、インダストリアル・インターネットの深い融合を積極的に推進し、通信事業者のサービスと業務拡張を実現する」とした。
ZTEは「2030年の6Gネットワークを見据え、当社は中国聯通との戦略的協力を全力を上げて持続的に推進する。双方は宇宙・上空・地上一体化技術、テラヘルツ通信技術、可視光通信技術など、6Gの高いポテンシャルを秘めたキーテクノロジーの研究を展開するとともに、テストと実証実験によりその技術の実現可能性を検証する。ピーク値1Tbpsのデータレート、20Gbpsのユーザーデータレート、100Gbps/m3の業務容量といった重要業績評価指標(KPI)の6Gネットワーク性能の目標を達成する」とした。
