This could result in specific inheritance divisions, such as the son's right to double the value of the inheritance to that of a daughter and the wife's one-eighth share in the deceased's estate.
In the event of the deceased person holding multiple citizenship, Moroccan citizenship will be the only one considered. In this case, succession follows Islamic law if the deceased is Muslim and Jewish law if they are Jewish.
