The inauguration ceremony and open house took place on July 17th at the Courtyard Plaza in Providenciales, marking a significant milestone in the island's business development landscape.

The event drew a range of audiences, including BSU clients, MSME Programme recipients, business community members, Taxi Association representatives, the Department of Trade, Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association, and the dedicated staff of Invest TCI.

As an integral part of Invest TCI, the newly launched BSU is committed to providing comprehensive support and training to entrepreneurs and small businesses. With a team of highly professional Business Advisors, the BSU caters to existing businesses, pre-venture clients, and innovative entrepreneurs, offering services characterized by integrity, confidentiality, quality, and timeliness.

Over the past seven months, the BSU has already made a remarkable impact, empowering seventy individuals through its face-to-face training program. These training workshops were conducted on the islands of Providenciales, Grand Turk, and South Caicos, with a primary focus on addressing the crucial challenges entrepreneurs face, particularly in financial management.

Furthermore, the BSU has forged a strategic partnership with Udemy Business, a renowned e-learning platform, to provide three hundred tailored courses that address the skill gap challenges often encountered by entrepreneurs. By harnessing the power of technology, the BSU aims to equip business owners with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in today's competitive landscape.

Recognizing the importance of specialized expertise, the BSU has also registered twelve service providers in key business areas such as Accounting, Marketing, and Business Planning. These professionals will be readily available to offer their expertise and guidance to BSU clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support across various business functions.
